I am going to Key West mid June for a week. Are there flats that far south as I want to do some sight fishing on a small flats boat. Any recommendations on
guides people have used and liked?

Justing Rea of Sting Rea Charters. I have never had a bad day with him. He was actually premiered in the fishing video Soulfishing (highly recommend this
video...in his clip, he guides his buddy into a Permit on fly). Justin is now one of the most popular guides in the Keys and he may be booked, but I would try

Thanks for the suggestion. Justin is all booked up in June plus I am going to be about 60 miles north.
I just had a change of plans and am going to be near Islamorada. Can anyone suggest a guide they have had a good experience with near Islamorada. Staying a Ducks Key which is about 20 miles south in June. |

I fished with Capt. Matt Pribyl a few years ago and had a great day tarpon fishing. He is easy going, friendly, and found me plenty of shots at fish.

I have fished with Capt. Paul for the past 10yrs. He always finds fish and he is excellent company on a skiff. Here's his website: http://www.stripstrikecharters.com/ Bill Taylor would be a pretty good person to split a charter with as well!!
