The gentleman that taught me to flyfish about 12 years ago is also a fine hunter. Mostly big game but also upland birds. He asked me to start hunting upland
birds with him next season. Pheasants, and sharp tail grouse for example.

Could you upland bird hunters enlighten me on a nice 1st shotgun. A lower end in price, opinions on guage, make,etc. are all welcome. Feel free to add what you

Hardy St. John shipped to Canada for (a) $8-12 and (b) not more than $15, respectively. When I look at www.usps.com for a 1 pound package, I can&#39;t see how

			<description><![CDATA[ Went fishing this Fall in a pond that has holdover stocker rainbows. There were tons...tons...of salamanders swimming out in the pond at, apparently, all kinds
of depths and parts of the pond. We successfully caught fish on various flies small yellow mayflies to Madame Xs to woollybuggers. We never saw a fish eating a
salamander, even though they were very near (inches to feet) to flies that were being taken. I&#39;ve never seen a salamander fly imitation that I can recall.

			<title><![CDATA[ a question for the tool guys ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I stopped at a local specialty wood and tool shop, they had a nice little block plane on their used tool rack, the tag said Stanley 103 and a very resonable
price- I am quite sure its not a 103, not even sure about the Stanley part.  My quess is maybe a 203.  There is no name on it (although searching for 203 I see
some had decals)  The iron has what looks to be a V&amp;B in a circle inside a square.  it is a nice solid litle plane 5 1/2 long 1 3/4 wide. I have a place
for it in the shop once... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ and jigs and Morris tunes and even Christmas carols.  I can play them all on this baby, a 1930s Lachenal Anglo concertina I recently acquired.

It&#39;s sort of the Heddon or Granger of older concertinas, but a really, really nice one that costs a hell of a lot more.  Luckily, unlike bamboo rods in my
past, I can be happy with just having one (or maybe two - they come in different keys).

morning. I am not a mathematician. What I observed, at least for the first few, was that a number constructed from the value of &quot;p&quot; and the value of
the Marsenne Prime itself was also prime. For instance M2 = 3 (23 is prime), M3 = 7 (37 is prime), M5 = 31 (531 is prime) and M7 = 127 (7127 is prime). I

			<description><![CDATA[ This past weekend, I opened an aluminum rod tube in storage containing a new graphite rod I acquired a year or two ago, but have not used. I was very surprised
to discover a strong odor of mildew and when I pulled the rod bag from the tube, the bottom six inches or so was damp and stained. Fortunately, the rod
wasn&#39;t damaged but I still haven&#39;t figured out how the moisture got into the tube in the first place, given the fact that no other tubes in the same

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>News arrived this morning from Grayling, Michigan; Rusty Gates passed away last evening.  There has never been a middle of the road with Rusty, people
either liked him or not.  Regardless, no one can challange his devotion to protecting the AuSable river system.  He was passionate and relentless in his
advocacy for the AuSable river and its watershed.  Spring will arrive with familier faces behind the counter at Gates AuSable Lodge but Rusty&#39;s shoes may
never been filled.
